Document summary

This project developed the economic case for the implementation of the Kneeling Trains technology, building upon a recent feasibility study (COF-PTI-03). It provides an economic appraisal framework that can be used for future assessments of kneeling trains investments as well as of other solutions that also remove/reduce the gap/step between trains and platforms. The framework is based on recent research on the economics of interventions that improve accessibility for all.
