Document summary
This report aims to provide robust evidence and data on the scale of current issues in wheelchair provision, potential beneficial interventions and highlight best practices. Some of the existing evidence on the challenges that exist in the provision of wheelchair services is either out of date or anecdotal and high level. This study provides an evidence-based articulation of current issues and quantify variation in geographic service provision. The key audience for the study is policy and health professionals. All of our work has been guided by an overarching economic framework.
