The ncat website has been designed to be as accessible as possible, and easy to use for everyone, whether it is accessed through sight, touch or speech.
Maintaining an accessible website is an ongoing process, and as the centre develops and the website grows we will work to continue to offer a user friendly experience. Some elements of this website use third-party plug-ins to operate and support functionality, and where possible we work with the developers to improve their accessibility.
To help us do this we work with members of our Community of Accessible Transport Panel, and other colleagues, to review the website and test its products and functions through user-journey and user-experience testing.
We also publish key documents and reports in alternative formats including Easy-Read, plain text and British Sign Language versions.
We know that sometimes, even with monitoring, bugs and issues appear, and experiences can vary according to different browsers and devices used, so we are keen to receive feedback on ways we can further improve user experiences.
