Document summary

Kantar was commissioned by Transport Focus to conduct a ‘deep dive’ analysis to explore aspects of disabled road users’ journeys that are associated with feelings of safety and journey satisfaction. The analysis was based on data from the Strategic Roads User Survey (SRUS) for journeys undertaken on the Strategic Road Network (SRN) between April 2018 and January 2020. This is the motorway and major ‘A’ road network in England, managed by Highways England on behalf of the Department for Transport.
