The research provides insights into the needs of a wide range of disabled customers and identifies metrics to assess levels of accessibility for GB railways. The overall objective is to raise the accessibility of the rail network. We have developed the Accessibility Maturity Assessment Tool (A-MAT) and accompanying guidance that can be used by train operating companies (TOCs) and station operators.
