Document summary

Working with our partners to run two trials of demand responsive buses in Ealing and Sutton Demand responsive buses enable customers to book a seat on a bus and use ‘virtual bus stops’ to complement the existing bus stop network. Bus routes are dynamic, adapting to demand in real time. The trials tested technology to enable customers to book on a mobile app, and also provided a phone booking option.
